The Win-Win, Let's Reach for it Again

The cancers which our bodies create are a function of too much of something playing upon our genetic base (which some would argue is tantamount to Karma);  so too our societal cancers, the foci of entropy,  serve to undermine cohesion and caring, promoting self-aggrandizement at the expense of everyone else.  This is the antithesis of perceiving life through the win-win, where individuals produce a product/service so society gains and they are compensated without excess-- value therefore accrues to both sides.

Companies should also follow this ideal, BUT instead, because the suits which head the companies are NOT followers of this altruistic win-win, they'll suppress competition, use subversive tactics to squelch freedom, spin information to slant favorable outlooks their way at the expense of others.

Taking this to the broader historical story of countries taking over other nations via resource competition or imperialism, instead of the win-win approach, where they could trade giving at least equal value so the relationship could be mutually beneficial, countries sought to subjugate the indigenous populations taking value and leaving little in return.  Again, it's those in power who decide who's to gain-- it's always been thinking of only their side.

So why do individuals, companies, countries just act according to their own lot without regard to the plight of others?  Why is there no attempt to incorporate the win-win outlook at any level?  Because there is no consideration of the element of time, how the choices made now create the future for us all.

Not all is lost- there's reason to be optimistic, for even at the subatomic level a condition occurs where there's an equal sharing of energies.  This is the goal of the human mindset of living in the win-win way.
