It has been said that there are 3 pillars on which an individual's happiness rests, and these are based on fulfilling the perceived basic needs of food, shelter, and reproduction. Many people will harm others for any of these without hesitation since they believe that these will furnish needs which are required to be happy. However, there is another source which should be included, and that is the blissful state of true spirituality, a connectedness with God. When the 3 basic needs are relied upon for happiness, it is often found that these yield a temporary satisfaction with life, but connecting one's self with God's mind is a never ending source of happiness. When this occurs, the 3 pillars take a backseat to a more sustainable positive and enjoyable life experience, one with God.
