What would our world be like if everyone behaved so there would be no winners or losers, a place where people acted for the benefit of everyone involved instead of solely in self-interest? That would be a shift in personal consciousness bringing into focus a broader perspective on life. Have you ever envisioned a world where no one tried to gain advantage over another, or a world in which a person's decisions take into account that of others who are involved, that they would benefit equally? Not just determining or believing from a single view that someone would benefit, but a mutual agreement that the exchange is of equal value for both parties. If this decision is on a social level by a spokesperson for a group, that would mean that those forming the pact on behalf of others would put others before themselves. The deterioration of our social contract to live peacefully together begins with the attempt to advance oneself ahead of others.
